2.Dioctyl Terephthalate (DOTP)

Produced through esterification of terephthalic acid with 2-ethylhexanol, DOTP is a versatile plasticizer known for its excellent heat and electrical resistance. It is widely used in PVC products such as cables, flooring, and automotive interiors, ensuring flexibility and long-lasting performance.

  • Product characteristic: appearance – clear liquid free from suspended substances and mechanical impurities; transportation – in tank containers, recommended grades T11-T22, and road tanks.
  • Guaranteed shelf life – 1 year from the date of production. Storage of the plasticizer is recommended in heated metal tanks to maintain the temperature above 0ºС and not higher than plus 40 ºС. Storage and transportation of the plasticizer require measures for the protection of the plasticizer from moisture and exposure to direct sunlight.
